Sleeping Beauty

I saw her smile in deep slumber
her thoughts wandering and searching
for the dearest kiss
if i can remember
the dearest kiss, she's waiting for the dearest kiss
even if it would take forever

He closed his eyes as he got nearer
to her face sweet and smooth
for the dearest kiss
if i can remember
the dearest kiss, he's giving the dearest kiss
a woman would cherish forever

The twilight rose for the dawn to deliver
the quietest night sky of sterling moon
for the dearest couple
if i can remember
the dearest couple, they walked as the dearest couple
the sun and moon would envy forever

He stopped to pick a lovely flower
of deep red beauty but with thorns of death
for the dearest woman
if i can remember
the dearest woman, she smiled as the dearest woman
a smile she'd regret forever

They came at last in a castle so somber
where dark serenity ran to awaken every ivy
for the dearest coming
if i can remember
the dearest coming, they waited for the dearest coming
and it did not have to take forever

The dirges had been played and it caused the gargoyles to holler
"she has come at last, our cup of blood!"
for the dearest fee
if i can remember
the dearest fee, she would pay the dearest fee
of losing her breath forever

She turned gray and black as he and his fiends would simper
watching the beauty of their offering
for the dearest prince
if can remember
the dearest prince, he was the dearest prince
of the kingdom where darkness lasts forever

He smiled at the beauty of her ever-sleeping lover
smugly and malignantly whispering
"for your dearest fate"
if i can remember
the dearest fate, it was her dearest fate
that in the realm of death she'd sleep forever.

kudos to my poem.
oliver.
